Plug empowers athletes to showcase their skills on a platform where coaches can discover and recruit them. The interface is designed as an open platform catering to three main users: athletes, independent recruiters, and universities. Users have the option to enhance their accounts with upgraded features to streamline their recruitment strategies.

Digital Portfolio: Users can create a Digital Portfolio similar to social media profiles, where athletes and recruiters can upload videos highlighting their skills, training, and facilities. This feature allows users to gain insights into the backgrounds of both athletes and recruiters.

Player Card: Functions as an athlete’s resume, outlining their characteristics, skills, and experiences sought after by recruiters during the recruitment process. Athletes are encouraged to include specific details that recruiters can search for. Basic information such as sport, position, height, gender, grade, age, school, graduation year, city, state, and zip code is automatically provided upon signup. Additional features like GPA and sports affiliations can be added by the athlete.

Search Filters: Provide recruiters with an efficient way to identify potential players by searching for specific characteristics. This feature allows recruiters to pinpoint athletes that match their criteria accurately.

Discover Page: Showcases user posts categorized by sport in chronological order. The page highlights trending posts within the community and serves as a valuable tool for building connections and scouting talent locally and nationally.

Communication: Facilitates interactions between users on Plug to explore various recruitment opportunities.

NCAA Protection: Guides coaches on NCAA compliance while engaging with athletes. This feature streamlines the recruitment process for athletic departments and organizations by ensuring adherence to NCAA rules.

Who Viewed Your Profile: Enables users to identify individuals who have visited their profiles. This feature benefits athletes by providing insights into recruiters interested in their talents and skills.
